Woo Dental - Jersey City

My husband and I are so fortunate to have found a competent and caring dentist in JCH. I hated going to the dentist until I found Woo Dental. The office is modern, clean and state of the art. The staff friendly. Dr. Woo explains treatment options clearly and with the pressure. I have found the fees very competitive. We are generally taken at our appointment time without much of a wait.

I love Woo Dental! I called with an emergency issue, they got me an appointment in an hour and a half. I went in, had xrays and the procedure was done in less than an hour. I have become a bit phobic about going to the dentist, but everyone including the dentist Dr Chung, was so kind, they put me at ease. The procedure was affordable. The care was kind and efficient. I couldn't be happier. I am looking forward to next appointment. Highly recommend!

I love Woo Dental! Very reasonable (insurance and out of pocket) excellent customer service from the reception to sitting in the chair for the dental work, and last, but not least, amazing dentists! Woo Dental has the latest in medical technology, which positively benefits its patients. Both Dr. Woo and Dr. Chung have worked on me and I love both of them. Dr. Chung sees me regularly; he’s performed the tough work like the root canals and cavity work. I am a difficult patient because of my extreme sensitivity and general fear of the dentist. Dr. Chung patiently works with me and gets me through the toughest appointments and I’m grateful! So, consider Woo Dental for your dental work; you’ll be glad you did!

The dentists/techs are friendly, but the front office needs to be completely replaced. I used to put up with the constant upselling and surprise charges because they were punctual and honored appointment times. The past few times I’ve been there, I’ve had to wait 30-45 minutes. With my last visit, I asked if I could come 30 min early and they assured me that it would be fine. When I arrived I had to wait 50 minutes before I could be seen - why waste people’s time like that? No apologies or acknowledgement or anything. On my previous visit, I had to wait an hour because they were running behind. Had the roles been reversed they would’ve slapped a cancellation charge without any remorse. I would not recommend. Edit after Woo’s response to this review: This is hilarious. The front desk never communicated the wait time and explicitly told me that I could be seen earlier when I called. No mention about a wait. The alleged transparency would’ve been appreciated as I would’ve kept my existing appointment. I explicitly told the front desk that I was fine with my appointment time. Either way, I still waited past the time that I was scheduled to be seen per our mutually agreed upon time. No

I had an amazing experience at Dr. Woo Dentistry in Jersey City. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcomed and comfortable. I especially want to thank Ana, one of the dental assistants, for being so incredible throughout the entire process. Ana was patient, caring, and extremely supportive. She helped calm my nerves, made sure I was comfortable every step of the way, and truly went above and beyond to make the experience easier for me. Her kindness and professionalism made a huge difference. The entire team was knowledgeable, attentive, and professional. I highly recommend Dr. Woo Dentistry to anyone looking for quality dental care with a compassionate staff. Thank you again to Ana and the whole team!
